It's the 8th day of giveaways!!

Today's giveaway is very special to me. I found this little artist about 11 years ago. She has expressed so much interest in art and has really blossomed! She has sold many pieces and offered to do something for one of my blog readers! I'm so excited to introduce to you, my daughter, Emma Farmer!
She has graciously donated this adorable elf painting. It is 11x14.

She is also selling these paintings to raise money for our Christmas Angel. He wants a bike and we just don't have the funds to get that! We have just about everything else on his list! We adopted this angel from The Boys Ranch with our cousins. We have been trying to raise a little money to get his bike. So far, we have about $100. He is 16 years old. Let us know if you are interested in buying a painting. They are $15. Emma can change the haircolor to look just like yours!

You can win THIS painting just by telling us if Elves come to your house. If so, are they nice or naughty? Ours started out naughty, they've gotten a lot nicer now!

On the 7th day of Christmas my true love gave to me.....

Sing it with me......7 Swans a swimming! I'm not giving away 7 swans...but, if I did, would you want them? They might look nice swimming in the pool outside. I don't think they could handle the cold weather we've been having.
Today's giveaway is something you can stay inside and cuddle with! One of my dear friends, Gay and her sister, Dinah started a business together. They create these beautiful pillows. All are handmade and have so much character.

It started when we were young collecting special “treasures.”  It is something we always loved.  Dinah went by way of Tuscaloosa and The University of Alabama, Tampa and Charlotte.  Gay traveled to Louisiana and back to The Southern Institute, School of Interior Design.  While raising our families we continued collecting and loving beautiful textiles and “little things.”  Gay has spent years perfecting her craft in designing beautiful rooms in and around Birmingham and at the beach. Dinah has been raising her children and volunteering in Nashville.
It was time!  Through the snow we were on a fun trip to Scotts in Atlanta and ran into David Lentjes and the company was decided. With Rozelle’s pillows sitting on our beds and in our living rooms, the business came to us.  It would be fine linen pillows and lots and lots of them.  Every one made with loving care and available to you. We are having so much fun designing our collection and hope you will enjoy them too.
The Giveaway for today is this gorgeous pillow! Don't you love the tiny buttons going down the middle? It is so soft and cuddly. I took this picture on the bed swing on my back porch. Yeah, it looks pretty great there! I need to get one for myself!

All you need to do is go to their website to see all the gorgeous pillows they have created. They have some unbelievable stockings and a tree skirt that is to die for!
Let me know your favorite item on their site and come back here to comment!

They only sell to the trade. Lucky for you, you might win one today!  They are in the Old Town Christmas Market and you can find them in several stores online. This Saturday is the last weekend for the market....There are some great gift items there!

6th Day of Giveaways! The Shops at 3rd Street Promenade

Working in Cullman has given me lots of new connections. I love meeting new friends and networking! Taking great talents and putting them together. Everyone wins! Stacie has a shop called The Shops at 3rd Street Promenade. It is a really cool place. She, her husband and another couple opened "The Shops" a little over a year ago. They have numerous artists from around the state of Alabama showcased. They also have art nights! I love art night. I think you all know that!
As a matter of fact, there was an Art Night last night! Never fear, there is another art night for kids on December 16th! It's the cutest snowman! You can sign up here..

This is a handcrafted piece of art created by Lamar Jeffries from Birmingham, Alabama. It is a smoked cross, made from clay and has a leather hanger.  The cross is actually an imprint from a wooden carved cross and is 5 3/4 in x 6 1/4 in. This beautiful piece is valued at $25.00

Taken from the website of The Shops at 3rd Street Promenade:
Our goal is to provide a fun, unique experience to our customers and to encourage, promote and support local and regional artists.  In July 2009, a business model for The Shops at 3rd Street Promenade was born.  It included supporting artists but also the community.  Upon completion of the business model, it was quickly realized what skill sets were needed in an individual to be our partner.  There are many talented artists in the area that do not have the opportunities or outlets for the amazing work they produce.  We immediately began contacting artisans possessing the skills needed to make this happen.  These ideas were quickly grasped with tremendous enthusiasm!  Promenade has gone beyond the original boundaries of Cullman and now includes Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, Hartselle and Oneonta.  We provide a beautiful, historic space in downtown Cullman where artists from all over the South can display and sell their work.  We focus mainly on original, handcrafted items such as paintings, photography, pottery, furniture, clay and metal sculpture, and wood work.  Offered is a vast array of work at prices that allow everyone to join the effort of supporting these artists.  It is an honor to have a chance to connect with them, contribute to their success and give Cullman something new and different to enjoy.
Giveaway!!
One lucky blog reader will get this beautiful piece of art!

All you have to do is tell me if you have all of your shopping done.....or not!
